I remember Mandy's rising popularity, but never had a clue as to her level of talent both song and stage. I was blown away by the movie. Never thought I would cry over a teenage love flick, but I did. Both Mandy and Shane West delivered absolute perfection. Mandy's presence in front of a camera, whether singing or acting puts her in a category all her own. I can't praise her enough. Moore is an amazing actress and 'A Walk to Remember' captured alot of peoples attention both young and old. Not only can Moore sing but she can act as well. I, however am also a fan of Spears and have been eversince I was in 5th grade. Her movie 'Crossroads' was good but not great.. if she comes out with a new film I would be impressed and til this day I still am a fan and love the new material shes coming out with. In my opinion both Spears and Moore are wonderful girls. Moore's film 'A Walk to Remember' gave me a different view on life.. a different perspective. I cried the first time I saw it and there are times when I'll cry after seeing it more then once. Like Christina Aguilera she has broken from the mould of squeaky clean pop princesses into someone who knows her own music and knows herself. At only fifteen, she started to rise to the place she is today, almost at the top. Britney Spears is still the best (in my opinion, of course), but Mandy has some great songs, a lot of them even better than some of Britney´s. I mean, is there anybody who likes Mandy Moore that don´t love songs such as "Walk Me Home", "I Wanna Be With You", "Cry", "It's Gonna Be Love", "The Way To My Heart" and "Crush"? C´mon!
