i HAVENT HEARED THIS SONG IN ABOUT 20 YEARS AND I HAD FORGOTTEN IT WHEN IT CAME UP ON THE RADIO I JUST WANTED TO HEAR THE CHORUS TO REMEMBER IT BUT IT REMINDS ME OF YEARS BACK GROWING UP IN SOUTH AFRICA, IT USED TO BE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FAVOURITE SONGS AS A TEENAGER. STILL A GOOD SONG

Was driving with a friend back in the 80's when Madonna came on the Radio with Madonna. I was so taken..I asked my freind who is THAT!!! I was told she's MADONNA!!! I was like, who's that?? My friend told me she's new and this is her first single...and I was hooked. Now in 2009 I am still her fan and she is my absolute favorite......Borderline brings back so many great memories as a teen growing up in L.A./Hollywood. Now that I look back, it was fun..I love Madonna and I love what Borderline did for me back then...

This is a great lyric. Although the song isn't as good and Madonna's singing makes it injured and asking (if not screaming) for a greater female voice with greater interpretative skills.

I've actually seen Duffy singing this and believe me, it was way better... I fell in love for a song I've never gave much credit...
