I thought I'm really strong inside and that I never needed him and could do so even without him. I knew I liked him, but not so much so that I could ever be miserable over him otherwise. I ultimately walked out, and he asked me to 'stay'. I told him that's what he thought then, but later he'll forget me and he'll laugh over it. Now, he was right. I was darn naive !
