Let mercy come means for God to have mercy on him for all of his wrongdoings. Same for you if you have that heavy load on your shoulders from past sins. Let God wash his mercy all over you, wash your slate clean. All you have to do is ask Him to forgive your sins. Read the Bible, tell God you love him and wish to give your life to Him. Your life will be changed forever. :) Go with God.

I read a review in here that said "I kinda fit with the lyrics...I wish I could wipe my slate clean too." To put it frankly, YOU CAN! No matter what deed you did, you can wipe it clean off of your slate. Pick up that Bible you have, yes I know you have one somewhere, and look for Isaiah chapter 43 verse 25. If you can't find it, (which is the worst excuse for not reading the Bible might I add!) look in the beginning of the Book and look for Isaiah. This verse states "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more," says the Lord." What God is basically saying is whatever sin you may have committed, he will forgive and forget if you ask him to. Just pray for forgiveness and read your Bible, it will change your life forever, I can promise you that. Go with God. :)

This song is the best song I've ever heard. I wanna hear more more! This song reminds me that I've done bad things and I just wanna erase it out of my mind! This song reminds everyone what has happen. If Linkin Park is reading this, write a song about how George Bush made things bad for everyone. He never helped!

This is such a great song not only because it was on the movie Transformers but because it tells that even though you have done heaps of shit you will always be sorry and i would just like to add that i have done alot of shit in my life and this is the song that sums up my words and is what i would have said in order to say sorry to my sins and to gain forgiveness. i kina fit it with the lyrics even though i know this song is more about what the human race has done than any one person has done. i have hurt people close to me and when i listen to this song i wish that i could 'wipe the slate clean' too.

it tells about. When he gave his life to Jesus, because mercy comes and washes away your sins when u ask for forgivness. It makes u a brand new person. Which is what he is talking about "A New Slate" could mean like a new start which means a new life. He wants to show has been forgiven and is a new person.

i'm not normally a linkin' park fan but 'in the end' is one of my favorites of all time and now i think they have stolen my heart again with, 'what i've done' it's wonderful. who cares if it has nothing to do with transformers. if it hadn't been for transformers, i never would have heard it in the first place, 'cause i avoid the pop-scene all together now. so, thanx linkin' park, for doing it again!!! you are wonderful.

This is a great song. It's talking more about what the human race has done to itself than what any one person has done. By the way, it does fit Transformers because the robots screwed up their world and get a chance to make sure we don't do that too, which is where they "clean the slate"

I love this song ,and I think it has a good message: don't dwell on the past, forgive yourself, and start a new life. Linkin Park did a GREAT job. Rock on, you guys! :)

this song really is amazing. I think that their band changing was for the best, not because they're better, but because maybe more people will become interested. they were an ingenius band, but less and less people were finding them original or interesting.

this doesn't even fit the transformers movie...why'd they use it? (is angry cuz she wanted to use it a book she's writing).it's probably my favorite song tho...linkin park steals my heart again....i hate rhyms..
