The Reviews about Leave Out All The Rest (page 2/ 4)
------ performed by Linkin Park

Hear with your heart | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/17/09

I have been battling cancer. This song conveys my thoughts to my 2 teenage children & my child in early 20's. It fits what I want them to go on with. Forget the bad times & remember me when I was healthy & vital to them. We have been Linkin Park fans since their first hit & I am not surprised they have touched the subject of telling loved ones to be happy when you've passed. I do not believe this song to be about suicide but appreciation for being loved until the end.

strangely | Reviewer: chris | 3/29/09

i heard this song recently and then it reminds me
of a life I left behind when I moved to a different place. It is a reflection on my hope that my friends will remember me.This song is about focussing on the good things about someone and being able to forgive and forget the hurt they've caused you. Brilliant.

Perfect Song... | Reviewer: J | 3/27/09

This song describes my life as of late to a T. I am a teen, and not too long ago I said the worst thing that I could've said to the girl I love... I know what all of you are thinking: "He's just a teenage kid, he doesn't know what love is." FUCK YOU! I can probably describe the feeling of love better than most adults out there... And John? FUCK OFF! Do the world a favor and go end YOUR miserable existence. Yes Linkin Park does deal with sensitive subjects such as those, but you miss the point. They are trying to tell teens like me to NOT kill ourselves. If you listen closely, you will find the subliminal messages in the songs, you dumbass. Anyway, great song...

OMG! | Reviewer: John | 3/18/09

"Leave out all the rest" is a truly awful song. Now from what I have heard, Linkin Park songs are reknowned for dealing with subjects like teen angst, suicide and "not being able to be what you want me to be". Correct me if I have misunderstood, but it sounds to me like the person in the song is saying: "I am a teenager in the middle of a particularly fierce bout of hormonal depression. I have only ever done bad things in my life. I will do some good things before I carry out my ultimate act of protest and end my miserable, confused existence. But when I am gone, I only want you to think of the good things I did. But I still am not who you want me to be." Is that right?

the best for Twilight | Reviewer: Fay | 3/9/09

agree with those who thinks that it is exactly for Bella and Edward. It's so moving. to be honest, before I liked only comedies, and no when i read the books (all 4 parts:-)), i am sure i can stand melodramas as well. the book changed my view about life and relationships.

Leave out all the Rest | Reviewer: DonJuan | 1/8/09

Well
Listening to this song reminds me of a life I left behind when I moved to a different country. It is a reflection on my hope that my friends will remember me. But it especially reminds me of the very difficult break-up that me and the girl I loved had to go through. At first things were alright - but after a little while we lost contact and now it seems like she has erased me from her life - I hope that I am still some form of memory for her.

it is painful | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/17/08

My love one told me the other night "I am ready to leave this world anytime" "I will pop the pill and end my life if I feel that I need to"

He has planned out everything of rest of his life, his money, his business, everything he has including me.

"I make sure you will be ok so that you can move on after I die"

I said to him "Would you tell me before you take the pill?" and he said "No If I tell you, you will stop me"

I cried and said "So you wouldn't give me a chance to say good bye to you before you go?"

He is 20 years older than me. I know the day will come some day. but It is so not fair that he is already ready to leave me bihind. I am not ready honey, Please don't tell me you are ready.

Fits Edward & Bella Perfectly | Reviewer: tommyprincess | 11/26/08

I've read the book 'Twilight' and have seen the film as well. This song absolutely fits Edward and Bella's characters very well. Everytime I hear this song, I get butterflies in my stomach, its a very touching song. I was also blown away when I found out that Linkin Park wrote it !!!
