The little red book | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/31/07

"My brother had a book he would hold with pride
A little red cover with a broken spine

On the back, he hand wrote a quote inside
"When the rich wage war it's the poor who die""

I love these lines. This song is beautiful.

This song is beautiful. It targets an issue we all seem to overlook. Its easy we live in a country where we can walk the streets and feel safe (Australia). Imagine being those who live their lives in fear... and it seems that the worlds mother country is the main target for suicide bombings. I see why this would happen, Muslims fight for their rights, against a country with such military strength and power, what else can a man fight with to protect his family and hold onto his pride (refer to the lyrics, "Do you see the soldiers they're out today, they brush the dust from bullet proof vests away"... these soldiers with protection, and those without it.
Innocent Americans die, Innocent Muslims die... innocent "Humans" die... Theres no good and bad here anymore, the balance has shifted, its now primarily bad actions that the world takes. Human error is inevitable in a lifetime, repeated errors with consequences we have already seen is ignorance. George Bush is ignorant, he seizes power over Iraq, he didnt liberate them, one tyrant is pushed aside another will come along. Children see nothing on t.v anymore except Muslims in Mosques being slaughtered, the most holy time of the day when they are praying, the innocent and forever remembered people of 9/11 did not wake up expecting to have their lives taken away from them... This song has articulately focused on one particular war that will not ever be won... its dead war...

I just want to say that its unjust that these men with all this power, with thier big homes, holiday houses, 50 cars and lack of empathy can dictate countries.... they have their people on strings, we are thier puppets. They sit on their "thrones" whilst the poor pay for it all.....Proud and strong men, nurturing mothers, inncocent children, they all pay for People like George Bushes actions.... think about it....Sorry this turned into a biography.

Think free!!!!

Awesome | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/26/07

This song sends a shiver up and down my spine every time I listen to it. The message is clear and deep; all of Linkin Parks songs are awesome but this one by far is the best with the best lyrics and beat. I absolutely love it.

awesome | Reviewer: jessie | 11/24/07

i think this song is so awesome and powerfull i have three friends in iraq and my cousin is aslo out there, we should just leave them to it bring the troops home, they don't need another xmaz out there, the people of the country are no better anyway and they aren't gratefull for the pwoers so called help so i say leave them to it they don't want us there we don't need to be there it's time to come home!

stay in iraq | Reviewer: some guy | 11/17/07

WE NEED TO STAY IN IRAQ, IRAQ IS VERY VULNERABLE RIGHT NOW WHEN WE LEAVE COUNTRIES LIKE IRAN A TURKEY ARE DIEING TO INVADE. IRAQ IS A BIG PART IN THE OIL INDUSTRY BUT NOT IF IRANS CONTROLING IT WE NEED TO STAY

Deep | Reviewer: Zuhukanah | 10/25/07

Very deep, i love this song.. i really wish that they didn't just start cursing, though, i liked it better without. but is a very good song, very true, and very deep.

exceeding expectations | Reviewer: lauren | 10/19/07

i have thus far only really liked the "hybrid theory" album but after hearing this album, i have a higher respect for linkin park. this song in particular. their messages are alot deeper and home-hitting. i believe music should impact you, and this album has definately impacted me. they have exceeded my expectations, and i say "job well done!"
