Something deeper and meaningful the artist shows this when he says 'discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me' it's as though he's searching for a meaning to his exsistence and 'there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface' explains that no matter how he appears on the outside to people their is a hunger in him that is much more powerful than what we can see on the outside appearance. There is also a sense of that the artist is confused about this hunger as the reality of his situations and life blocks this desire to find something more meaningful.
