Just like pictures, the tune, the rhythm, and the heart can describe a thousand words, it's never about the words man...it's about how you feel connected to these meanings behind them. I really do have a lot of respect for Lifehouse; they've been around for a while making some great tracks (this song has an awesome bass line), but don't you ever get sick of the usual "Rick Dees Top 40" archetypal song? Look up "Too Much To Ask" by Arctic Monkeys - a perfect example of the same message (except you've probably never heard of it or them). If you're not familiar with them, don't write them off because of their name; Alex Turner (the lead vocalist/songwriter) is truly a remarkable writer.
