And basically, from what I can gather, it's about a person who's being alienated, or discriminated by other people. People are treating him bad, and basically, Jason Wade's singing from the point of view of someone who'll protect that "Simon" from all the evils he's facing. That that someone knows what "Simon"'s going through, and will be there for him.
