I wept | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/18/09
I wept when I heard the song. I knew they were talking about Jesus because I knew that Lifehouse was/is a Christian band and I wept like a little girl because they described how I would feel in the direct presence of Christ and how I feel everyday.
I get out of bed because of my relationship with Christ, as a recovering alcoholic. He is my everything, I would be dead without Him. Thank you guys!!! Your lyrics were spot on!

Do people have to curse and use the F... word, show some respect and also expand your limited vocabulary! Some people have very trashy mouths and spew vulgar venom where ever they go. It is really very sad!
Seriously? | Reviewer: Cory | 8/4/09
Everyone needs to quit their bitching, honestly. I was reading an interview with one of the band members earlier and this is what was said:
"Also, Jason has said his songs can be interpreted to be a lot of things to a lot of people."
So for those of you that are arguing about whether it's about God or about someone being in love... stop it. It can be about both of those things. Interpret it however you want to, but don't sit here and criticize other people for believing it's about something different than you what you think it's about. Grow up.
He did it for Me | Reviewer: Malinda Fuentes-Cezair | 7/19/09
I am a huge Jesus Freak & this song speaks of what He did for me 2 and a half years ago...so to those Christians & non-Cristians out there apply this song to Him and be blown away!!! I too applied it to my husband whom I love very much..but that feeling was NOTHING compared to what I felt when applied to Jesus..be blessed my brothers & sisters.
ok........ | Reviewer: Jordan Johnson | 7/12/09
Ok, so I am a Christian, and based on what I've heard, I do believe this is a Christian song. However, I don't interperet it as talking about Jesus and/or God. I interpret it as singing about a GIRL. And I think most people do to. But it doesn't matter how you interperet it, it is the message that it leaves you with. It is a great song, and Lifehouse is a INCREDIBLE band. :)

I'm not choosing sides in this debate but I would like to point out that the song was written while the original 2 of them were leading worship at vineyard church. It seems odd to me that they would write a song about anti-Biblical principles (according to Daemon) while they were leading worship for a Christian church.
Wikipedia article of Jason Wade | Reviewer: rachel | 6/30/09
Maybe this can put some controversy to rest. The Wikipedia page on Jason Wade says this...
Reluctant to discuss his lyrics in detail, Wade feels they are infinitely open to interpretation. "That's the great thing about a song - a lyric may mean something totally different for someone else than it does for me and still be just as valid," he insists. A case in point is album closer "Everything": "We've been playing it on tour and when kids come up after the show, it seems like they always tell us how much they love that song. They don't really know what it's about, but they hear something in it that connects to them personally. That's why you don't have to tell the whole picture in the lyrics; you give a road to start on that people can relate to."

Here's an advice... you can discuss this forever and you wont get anywhere, so forget about this Christian and non Christian stuff and fucking enjoy the song... who cares what is it about?! interpretate it however you want and enjoy it.
I personaly believe it's realy about Christ, and I'm an Atheist. And still, this is one great song to hear and enjoy, cuz I can put on it the meaning I want. Listen to the anonymous guy below, and go live, laught and love for all.
Move on and get a life!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/24/09
Why do most folks get their panties in a wad everytime somebody says anything about God or Jesus! Is all good; its just an opinion. People can define things as they wish. Move on haters and get a LIFE!! Please. Everything is a beautiful song however a person wants to interpret it. Live, Laugh, and Love for all.
