Jesus is the way | Reviewer: stephanie | 1/3/09

This is a beautiful song, for a loved one, or for the great Loved One, Jesus. "For every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father." There is none like Him!

keep it simple... | Reviewer: ash | 12/17/08

I find it funny how every freekin' time an indirect love song comes out, the Christians always flock onto it and label it a Christian tune about God... or Jesus... and how this song is only "an interpretation of his love for all of us"...lol... not saying it isn't; i'm just saying that this can mean many things to many people, or else Lifehouse would've specifically mentioned God or Jesus, or whatever mythical creature the mindless sheep continuing to inhabit and hold back this world choose to believe in.... it's a love song, point blank... nothing complicating to comprehend in these lyrics at all... so, whether it's about loved ones or religious iconography, so be it... just stop trying to make it all about one thing, when it's obviously not...

This song is beautiful. It's by a Christian band who loves their Savior Jesus Christ with everything in them. They recognize the fact that with out Him, they'd parish forever. like Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

i completely agree with angie about the line "And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?"
as i was listening to this song, that line stood out to me, too. God's presence overwhelmed me, and i couldn't help but wonder how so many people don't acknowledge the Fact that He's REAL. He's omnipresent, always with us, created us, Joshua 1:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you", He never gives up on us.
I strayed from God for so much of my life and for a time, even believed He didn't exist. Then April 8th, 2007, He called me. I knew it was real that time. I make mistakes but He always is reminding me that He's set my feet upon His rock and "with Christ there is no condemnation". i've been washed by His blood, and i will spend eternity with Him!
so this long rant, all to say.... He's my everything. that's what this song's about!
and the skit is amazing as well...

ok | Reviewer: hannah | 11/30/08

so i have been reading the reviews or whatever on this thing and i can come to the conclusion that this song is only representing Gods love for us. you can try to make it sound like a loved one but the main purpose of this song is for us to realize as christians and nonbelivers that we all mess up and God is still pulling us towards him.

maybe it's a christian song, or the lyrics are christian .. but i'm an atheist, so basicly these lyrics remind me of my one true love.
lifehouse is indeed a good band.
Anyone who knows if they're a christian band? ..

A song for Anyone | Reviewer: Ravian | 5/24/08

yes this song can be interpreted in multiple ways. But this is a good thing. It means it has a meaning for almost anyone. Wether it is about god or the one person you truly love. Whatever way it is that you interpret this song... It's just amazing. There's just no way that you are not moved by this song

This song is so sweet | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/22/08

When i first heard this song... it reminded me of true love. I think it could be either God or your significant other. I just saw it at first as a significant other. But that could be because i didn't know that lifehouse was a christian band. Whatever... this song is amazing... interpret it how you want. That's why people have opinions :)

Deeply Emotional | Reviewer: Marc Jess | 5/8/08

This song reminds me of my Christian walk. The lyrics were very like Christian contemporary music the closest to which I can relate it to is Hillsong.

It's very intimate at the beginning. Hearing these lyrics gives me that wonderful chills and warm tears . It's a song that I would like to sing with deep emotion to the person who gave me love that's enough for me to say to Him "You're all I want, You're all I need, You're everything."
