They are probably serious but that's what makes this band even more entertaining to listen to since none of their ideas will ever gain traction. Seriously though the music is some of the catchiest and best songwriting I've heard. Definitely check them out. This last 7 or 8 years of Bush has really spawned some amazing punk rock. If the GOP wins in '08 we can look forward to even more kick ass punk! Give 'em something to complain about and the best albums will come.
