'Ripped Off' is a bit of a stretch. Reworked is a better description. Notwithstanding that Zep probably did a huge service to Memphis Minnie in doing its version. Of course, McCoy and Minnie also quoted from the Count Basie Orchestra in the song too, so I guess that it means that they 'ripped off' parts of the song from another artist too.

It was written by Memphis Minnie in 1929 and subsequently ripped off by Zeppelin. It's about the flood of 1927. Listen to Randy Newman's "Louisiana 1927".
