I've survived thru Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and most recently Gustave. Gustave literally destroyed the area i live in, then the rain came and flooded about half the parish. All of Ascension Parish (where I live) was without electricity for bout 2 weeks but about a third of the parish didn't have electricity for about a month. and i was layin n my bed sweating (since it was about 98 degrees on day 3) in the dark, and i saw my iPod Shuffle. So i turned it on and put it on random, and wat song should start playing but this one. I immediately started to chuckle at the irony. Now I smile everytime I hear this song. It's hard, it's blues-y, it's more Southern than a girl in Daisy Dukes bent over a cotton field, and the best part, it sounds like it can be used for some badass movie character entrance, like some hardcore dude walking in slo-mo with a big ass explosion in the background. The song relies heavily on slurred backing track and, as such, is difficult to re-create live. To date, it has only been played live six times. I have two live recordings of this song on bootlegs and at the end, they add extra lyrics. I cross-checked those lyrics with the lyrics to some various other songs on this site, and it turns out that they are actually just the first verse of "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield! You could at least put the extra live lyrics in brackets at the end or something.
