One of the most beautiful and inspiring songs I've ever heard. Plant and Page are absolute masters of the art.

This song is truly beautiful. Whenever I listen to this song, the world seems brighter and this is a real masterpiece.

This song is one that can bring out the beauty of anything. To hear it in a back alley may bring out the most vibrant colors of the clothes hanging above, the spraypaint on the walls, to hear it on a mountain and see an indescribable view would be enough to fulfill any wish you may have ever imagined. I learned to play it today in the heat of July and it began to rain. The poetry of the moment required no words, just silent admiration for the works of Page and Plant and all of their great influences.

Pat Robertson stated that Led Zeppelin is manipulated by Satan. He said that anyone who listens to them will not be saved by Jesus.

Truely my favorite song of all times.....a masterpiece band. My regards to Page/Plant for giving such a gift to us all. (And to those who agree) There are not many tunes out there as perfect as this one!

Led Zeppelin didn't write Stairway. As a matter of fact,many of Zep's tunes are covers. Stairway came from "Tauris" an instrumental from a band called "Spirit" way back when. Here's an excerpt from Listology, the Murky Origins of "Stairway to Heaven"

" I fumbled around for the liner notes to the Spirit album, and found that Randy California, their guitarist, wrote that people ask him all the time why "Stairway to Heaven" uses the exact same guitar line as "Taurus," and California responds, without any trace of bitterness at all, that Led Zeppelin's first American tour was as the opening act for Spirit, and they often played Spirit songs as part of their set."

Either way, you'll always have to "get the Led out" I just thought it might interest somebody to see what Led Zeppelin was influenced by, to become the band that they were. I won't go into any more detail as I have blathered enough, but you should check out other songs too. :)

As far as Rain Song goes...can you ever really listen to it too much? I don't think so.
