The Ocean is a fun song with an off-time beat that will outlast eternity. It's in the key of A and has a wonderful acapela breakdown with multiple voices and harmonies. The lyrics aren't too serious but Plant does mention that he loves his children. Page overdubs a section so many times he puts up a wall of sound for us all to enjoy. The ending is a great showcase of the bands dynamincs and ultimate capability to bring down the house. The fact of the matter is: This song Rocks!
