No Quarter review 33 years later | Reviewer: Dana | 8/23/06
This 1973 song was composed by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. It is, in my opinion, and excellent example of the somewhat haunting nature of the Zeppelin songs during that era. I believe the composers were influenced by J.R. Tolkien and if you carefully consider the lyrics you might agree. These lyrics would be an appropriate theme song for a horror flick that depicts the cast of characters walking through a dark and fog saturated forest with the devil mocking their every step and the dogs of doom howling in the background. Thank you, Zeppelin, for writing songs far ahead of their time and ones that will live in infamy.
No quarter - easely the best song of Zeppelin | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/10/06
For every Zeppelin fan there is the one song that stands out of them all. The one that inspire you the most, that sends the chills down your spine. For me, 'No quarter' is all that and more. The lyrics are so strong, and as the song develops, the music gets me into the "ZONE". Its one of the songs your can't just hear, you need to notice every note and music cord, you have to be focused all along so you wont miss the combination of lyrics, music and voice. And when you do that, it gets you to higher level of... that something we always look for... A MUST HEAR SONG!!!
