It amazes me that I feel the meaning of the lyrics without even knowing exactly how to interpret them. I have read that this song is dedicated to Robert Plant's son Karac Plant (i probably misspelled his name) but he died at the age of 7 or 8 i believe of a sudden illness, perhaps pnuemonia (another misspelling?) , not sure off hand, but it brings a different meaning to me knowing that. I just love the stomp of Bonzo's bass drum pounding to Page and JPJ's triumphant riff and how it drifts into Pages soothing guitar drips just before JPJ tears it up with a keyboard solo that is pure perfection and then you hear Page picking at what sounds like a ukelele or something, really cool stuff and a real ode of everlasting love.
