Not to mention,her IMPRESSIVE,vocal range!!!I'm almost ashamed to admit,that I owned this album,for 3 years,before I actually listened to it,further than the opening track!!! That's because,I was too busy listening to "gangsta"rap,and commercialized R&B,to even give anything else a chance...Boy,do I feel stupid NOW!! Lamya is now,my ALL-TIME favorite artist!!With "deep"songs like"Never Enough","The Woman Who"and"Bed I Never Made"Lamya shows GREAT,intelligence,profundity and maturity!! I only fear,that her music is so literary,that it blows OVER,the heads of 85% of the U.S.music-buying public!! One line from "Learning"that I feel is SUPREMELY,clever,is on"Splitting Atoms"where she says:"This immortal span of every mortal man,and the grand-stand,and I'm holding on tight,with an OPEN hand!!! Lamyas' cool...HOW,do you do THAT?!? These following lines from "Never Enough"are the "deepest",most powerful,that I've EVER heard:"I could rip my HEART out,and LAY it,on the GROUND,before you!!"and"I would BARE,my naked THROAT,to your"blade"of pain!!"This is a STELLAR album,that I could write for DAYS,about,but I'll keep this short..ASTOUNDING album!!
