It all is a great and emotional song, just as "Daddy" by KoRn, they are both about mental and physical abuse during Jonathan's childhood, from being molested by a family friend to being tormented by classmates for his likes and appearance. I was treated the same way at school for being a Metal/Rock fan and have gotten over it because when I hear songs like this I and reminded that it could be a lot worse for me, and I just accept all the dumb crap that they all call me, I mean, its not like it will effect me later in life, and we all have our own quirks and secrets so let anyone comment and only pay attention to the good ones, push out the negative and take in the positive. :)

I know you are trying hard to not be disrespectful, but no one gives a shit about your opinion. Your mind and opinions are shaped solely on ancient ideas and beliefs, it really isn't your opinion at all, its the opinion of thousands of ignorant people from ancient civilizations. Why shouldn't I be allowed to have sex when everyone else has the God given right? Coming to terms with my sexuality made me realize how idiotic religion is. Open your eyes to a new perspective, you may be surprised. I'm sorry if it pains you to read this, I used to cringe when I read anything anti-Christian, but its because you don't want to believe that what you base your life on could be nothing more than a childish lie. I've lived in so much pain because of this fucking world. I'm 20 and I've never been with anyone in my life. I hate myself and will never get over this because of this bullshit. You have two options if you bare my curse; let people know about it and get tortured for it, or simply hide until you think its safe. Either way its fucked up. So I'm 13 and I get bullied all the time at school, so I think Jon is right in making this song... I've been told freak on a leash is about his dad molesting him so I think this song goes with that because, people probably called him a faget when he was a kid so yeah.

Jon has summed up the views of every single person who has ever been subject to hate, bullying or other such injustices. I don't know about everyone else, but I for one find this song a breath of fresh air amongst all these fake pop songs where everything is perfect. Reality hurts, get over it. Sweet revenge song, It's Jon's way of saying "You called me a faggot and kicked my ass for being different, well look where that got me." A recorded "Fuck You". I think it's a great song to boost someones self- esteem for being who they are, and not giving a shit about what anybody else thinks!
