It doesn't tell the tale of just one person although the voice is in 1sr person it can represent all our voices. Any of us could be saying this. Life can be shitty, people can be shitty, and we try so hard even though obstacles get in our way and weights of emotional concerns try to bring us down - but we all have that light that keeps us going. A person, a dream, a frame of mind, anything. I'm rambling, but I appreciate the depth of this short, simple song so much, and I hope others do as well.
