I discovered her through juno which opened up this new world of music that I didn't even know existed. That doesn't make me a bad person. I'm glad it happened. And I don't listen to her music just because of juno either, but even if I did, what do you care? I'm not gonna go all political about music because people make it more complicated than it is. If you like the song, if the lyrics mean something to you, then listen to it. If not, don't. Simple. It's not like "hollywood" stole Kimya dawson's songs away from her. Don't you realize she was probably thrilled to become better known and to have more fans? This isn't about her (I guess the word is jealous?) fans. If you DO actually listen to her music, you would be happy to have more people share in the joy of it, not want to somehow claim it as your own. We all love this song, and her other songs too :) This song means so much to me and to so many other people too.
