Well parents pass their own insecurities to their children in many ways. Lies, broken promises,the way the treat others in front of them, the weak relationship btw spouses, cheating, alcohol and drug abuse, etc. It's very depressing to realize that these children grow up one day to become insecure individuals. A lot of times they become a version of what at one point they hated the most and swore not to be.
