No One Can Ever Take His Place. | Reviewer: Ethyleen Jones | 7/30/10
I think Keith was one of the best singer's ever.
He put so much feeling in any song that he sung.
My favorites were Don't Close Your Eyes, and
I'm No Stranger To The Rain,I had to cry everytime I
heard it after he died. No one can ever take his place.

keith was not only a great singer, but he was a great guy. He never got above his raisens, he was down to earth. I dreamed after he died, he came to me and said, " Rodney, it's a lot better up here where we are at, than down there where you are." I know that Keith is waiting for his family to join him there.
sad and sweet | Reviewer: Stormy Trent | 7/18/09
I remember sittin in my car one night years ago feelin sorry for myself over recent break up and hearing "between an old memory an me" and it felt like he knew exactly what I was going thru at the time. There was so much emotion in his voice...I will never forget this beautiful talented man with the sweet spirit who left this earth too soon.

what he was? | Reviewer: Tamra | 9/18/07
I feel that Keith Whitley was a instrumental part in 80's and 90's country...He was a great mix of the Bluegrass, and the Twangy Country, Which made a great mix for the new 90's country... That was great drinkin music! Yeah he was an alcholic but that did not interfer in his abilities as a musician/song writer... He was TRUE Honkey Tonk... a lot of NEW country music has forgoten what that is all about.

The Very Best Country Voice of the 80's | Reviewer: Dwight Wood | 1/14/06
Simply put, when Keith passed away, heaven now has one of the best country music voices ever. He is ever so missed. I only wonder if his son, with Lorrie, has his voice.
