She has the most incredible, unique voice and plzys guitar so naturally with her awesome little pedal! If you've seen her live you'll know she is amazing at not only performing songs, but entertaining the crowd. Stacking the percussion parts, the backing vocals and harmonies, using delay stomp boxes... brilliant. Amazing. When I listened to KT singing on the morning show NBC today it was the first time I had ever heard her.But I knew right away she either had to be a Scott or Irish from the sound of her voice and the soul she projected.I to love to sing.And one thing I have learned in Life is that certain so called sterotypes do apply to the Scotts and Irish.And they are we tend to wear our hearts on our sleves,we have quick tempers but are quick to forgive we are for the underdogs and God has blessed many a Scott and Irishman with the abilty to sing from our hearts. Larry Murphy I AM A SINGER AND JUST GOT TURNED ON TO KT | Reviewer: Rose | 7/11/07 Here I am 48, singing in bands and duos since age 15, and it took all of this time to get turned on to a new singing sensation(new to me). I love her cause we have the exact vocal range and we both put heart into all of our tunes. My Daughter had a copy of Black Horse and The Cherry Tree. I was absolutely sold but didn't hear or think anymore about her. Then my man and I saw a woman singing on stage, on an MTV type TV show. I heard her sing various tunes and play guitar etc. We said to each other "Who is this woman? Do you know her? She's great!" We missed her name in the credits and he said well I guess we'll never know. Then, I told him I thought one song I liked alot that night was probably called "Suddenly I See" Being a singer I figured that one out!Yippy! LOL! So he looked the song up and low and behold we got her name. Now I am going nuts listening and learning all her tunes. I absolutely think that she is the best talent I've heard in years and years. Her lyrics are spell bounding, heartfelt, heavy, and eye opening. After reading her biography, I see where she gets the emotion to put in her tunes. Anyway, I just can't say enough about her. I will definately be looking for her to treat us Pennsylvanians to a concert. Listen and feel her. That's all I can say.
