Enjoyed the show | Reviewer: Brenda | 1/10/13
I saw K.C.in Cheokee N.C. In December 2012. He signed autographs until the last fan in line was gone. Security had closed the area. I walked up to the desk, called his name and asked for an autograph. He graciously autographed and posed for a photo. He could not have been more kind nd professional.
Who cares about the hater's of Harry the man ! | Reviewer: Rhonda.!!! | 12/19/12
All the people's bull shit about Harry is not true so they need to get there story right. He is the one who made K.C. and the sunshine band and was the braine's of the group. I seen him at F.W. Casino in New Buffolo Michigan and he was still awesome as ever !!!
Just awesome | Reviewer: Kim | 11/29/12
Who cares about how KC is as a person? He rocks the music world and and we love his music. When you go to a concert, that's what your're looking for right? You're not planning on taking the lead singer home to raise your kids right? KC, you rock! Love you, your stage performance and you music.

KC is a great singer | Reviewer: alice riggs | 10/28/12
I don't know how these people can put KC down he is very talented and a great performer and he don't look self centered to me, for one he is always smiling and stuck up people don't know how to smile only when they are looking at them self in the mirror.... I think the whole band is great and I think they should be still making music....... From your biggest fan....
Former band members | Reviewer: Rick | 10/13/12
Since you all are so knowledgable about KC & the Sunshine band, I was wondering if there was ever a bass player by the name of Richard Cook.
Thanks for the great articles on this site with so much KC & the Sunshine Band info. Great job guys! Thanks again, rick t
Interesting | Reviewer: vchap | 6/26/12
As a fan of the musical group, KC and the Sunshine band, I found this article interesting. I read the article a couple of times just to get some insight of where it was coming from and read the comments as well. I found no derogatory comments against Casey as an artist, but rather praise of the group's accomplishments. I do not see any desire for Fitch to gain complete credit for everything but just share the credit for equal contributions. However I was a big fan as a teen when they were at the height of their popularity and have had friends witness Casey's rudeness towards his fans at concerts. We made excuses for that. As an adult working in the entertainment field, I have met people who have been around him and they all found him to be moody and unapproachable. But there were a few who liked him.. go figure! I do not know the whole story because there are many behind the scene things we the public do not see. I do know the group KC and the Sunshine Band had some really amazing artists, they are the ones who made the sound, the style, the music, (Casey and Fitch wrote),come alive. As a band, pretty amazing.
Are you seriously kidding me | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/24/12
I created this brand , the band and I named the band before Rick Finch before anyone and I am so tired of your constant twisted desire to change the real fact and events as they happened

The Real Story | Reviewer: Sherry | 4/14/12
I'm really tired of the revisionist history that is being portrayed by Rick Finch's publicist. I worked for T.K. Records before KC & The Sunshine Band came into existence. I can definitively state that Harry Casey was the sole writer of all the songs that were attributed to Casey/Finch as the writers. Casey, against my advice, literally GAVE Finch credit, although he was only an engineer in the studio, because that's the kind of person he is. The concept for the band, the material, etc., were 100% the result of Casey's creative genius.

I grew up with Rick Finch but lost contact around 1968-69. The next time I saw him was one afternoon when I saw him on the Dinah Shore show. Thats the day I discovered Rick had made it big. Both Rick and Harry did and interview with Dinah after the band performed and as they were talking I heard both Rick and Harry saying how the two of them together created that band and not just Harry. I was very proud of Rick then and I still am. Harry Casey? How dare you continue to lie to the world..you DID NOT SOLEY create KCSB. You are an arrogant ass and literally stold all of Ricks rights to HIS music by tricking him into signing that paper. Yes everybody Harry Wayne Casey Stole everything from Rick Finch and has continued the lie to this day. God will rightfully judge you one day..I wouldnt want to be you.EVER! KC and the Sunshine Band is like an institution. They were great and they wouldn't have been if Rick Finch had Not been there from the very beginning.
Bring on the movie!!!!!!! | Reviewer: john | 2/10/12
I would pay big money to see this bio turned into a feature film. I believe this could be bigger than RAY. Mark Walberg should play the part of Harry Wayne Casey. This would be great.
Knew them well in Miami | Reviewer: Van man | 8/10/11
I met the horn section before Rick and Kc. Benard,Tim,Jerome were some very down to earth people.Kc and his people paid them almost zip.I went to shows on North Miami Beach at the Castways club. They were great in the day. Kc was always a pain in the ass to deal with.
The last show i went to was at Disney World in Orlando,Fla. The police with sting played backup for the KC band. Very good show !
It is true that Kc is a gay man. Never saw him with a female. From the start he was into himself and piss on the rest. Came back to bite him in the end.Rick just got 7 years in jail in Ohio.
They had it all and blew it.
WINSTAR CASINO OKLAHOMA | Reviewer: BRUCE GRIFFIN | 4/8/10

IF YOU NEVER WENT TO A SHOW, THIS ONE HAS MORE ENERGY AND GREAT BEATS. KC AND THE GIRLS WERE AWSOME. KC HAS A SMILE THAT NEVER GOES AWAY WHEN HE SINGS. THE GIRLS GET DOWN,AND THEY CAN SHAKE AND BAKE. THIS WAS THE BEST CASINO SHOW,I HAVE GONE TO YET AND IM A COUNTRY PUMPKIN. KC IF YOU COULD SING COUNTRY YOU WILL HIT A TOP SONG ON THE CHARTS LIKE HOOTY FROM HOOTY AND THE BLOW FISH, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND STAY COOL.
KC is an insult to his own music | Reviewer: George Everett | 2/6/10
I've met KC and Finch. Anyone who gets that chance, don't waste your time with KC cause he sure wont give YOU the time of day. KC is only into KC oh and into his jewelry. He reminds me of a white Mr. T. HA! Finch on the other hand couldnt be nicer. I met him at a MOPAR event in Columbus last summer. We probably spent 10 minutes or more talking about cars and music. He was totally into it and not looking at a watch or at his friends for a quick getaway. He really didn't have to spend that much time cause I get he's a busy guy but I saw that he spent a lot of time with everyone who approached him. I've met alot of famous people but none nicer than Rick Finch. I got an even deeper respect for Finch after reading an interview with him on a website called songfacts. Doubt I'll ever go to another KCSB concert. KC sure screwed over Rick Finch big time but every dog has his day. And the Donna Kennendy post well I had to laugh when I read it cause she sure sounds like a paid employee or a lovesick groupie. hope she knows shes wasting her time if she thinks she can get him in bed cause he only likes men.

KC & The Sunshine Band | Reviewer: Donna Kennedy | 5/20/09
I saw KC & The Band at the Hard Rock on May 1st. I thought the show was one of the best that I have even seen them put on. I have been reading the comments posted. I realize everyone is entitled to their opinion, but as far as KC stealing royalties..Rick Finch's name is on all the music published that I have seen. So unless he has sold his rights, he still should be getting royalties. And as far as paying to be a part of his fan club (or any fan club)it takes money to operate a business. Everyone should realize, THIS IS A BUSINESS! KC has always been very nice to me and the group that see him after the shows. I have seen him for the past 9 years off and on and haven't experienced anything but a great time from KC & his band members.....
Thanks!
Donna
