Almost impossible to sing the vibrato at the end of the chorus during "Skies", I have no idea how Rob accomplished it...it must have been multitracked. They have never played it live, and I doubt they ever will

When I first heard that song my entire body shivered... every time I hear it, my body shivers! It gives me strenght to keep on goin... it takes all my bravery out and leads me to go fighting against whatever comes.... wow, cowards would never understand what I'm talkign about.

awesome experience. you won't believe how much low-end material exists until you hear it on a truly great system. as Queen blended "broadway" with rock, Priest brings an operatic flavor to metal on this one. you've seen rock operas. how about a Metal opera--with all the trimmings?

Great apocalyptic song, I absolutely love this piece of Priest. It's one of my all-time favorites. While listening to this song I can really imagine myself drifting an abandoned city, holding tight to a rifle, knowing that every step I take could be my last, just looking for the perfect ambush for the death-squad on my trail :)

You better believe this song is bloody hard to sing. Not so much for the high notes as for the really quickly changing between low and high without getting a proper breathe, then having to hold the "skies" note for that long. Still can't do it properly.

One of the best of Priest, it shows what they are made of and displays all of the bands talents high to low inside and out.
