Hi, this song is a huge and important song to many people but chill out. I'm sure journey would'nt be offended if you called it the 'rice pudding song', let alone anything else, as long as you enjoyed it. I can't believe people are getting their knickers in such a twist over a song title.enjoy the bloody song! chin up.

For such big Journey fans you seem oblivious to the fact that it is called "Don't Stop Believing", and not "Small Town Girl".

I realise someone else has made this point, but I feel it needs to be reiterated so you plebs may have at least a teeny bit of understanding about the song, and the band, you claim to love so much.

this song has such a captivating rythm followed by nice lyrics, the kind of lyrics you nod your head to in agreement when u listen to it

it was also on Family Guy, Season Four. Peter and the guys fix up the Drunken Clam to convert it into a karaoke bar to try and attract customers (a parody of a scene from Revenge of the Nerds). He sings journey and hundreds of people pile in waving their lighters in the air screaming 'Journey'!!!

I am an artist myself and what I title my song sometimes has great importance to the song. I am a big fan of this band and the song title is don't stop believing...its a big part of the song...and should be corrected.

I just heard that song again on the Sopranos. One of those songs for a long drive in the country or anywhere for that matter. (Pure Gem)

uhh its neither "i seen her in a smokey room", nor "a singer in a hotel room". its "a singer in a smokey room" for such a big journey fan, its kinda obvious that its not hotel room

It makes a great deal of difference as to what the actual name of the song is. That's what Journey called it and if it's a good song at least acknowledge it.
