I think February Song is about himself on the way to somewhere else - and he hasn't forgotten himself on the way to other places in life. Or it could be truly about a friend he's left befind but wants them to know he will be back. When I first heard his voice a few years ago I thought he didn't have much range. But gosh darn is he CUTE. Looks a little like a very young Richard Gere or the hollywood image of a young King David. Angelic in appearance and in voice...his voice has developed nicely and his range HAS GROWN beautifully now that I've listened to him more closely.
