Very True | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/30/07

I've listened to this song so many times and it still hits home hard. Tears indeed. Life really is one fast train that never slows down and John Mayer captures this perfectly in a matter of minutes through his lyrics. Not sure about the "next Dylan" comment, yet, but it is so refreshing to see that there is still hope for a music industry that lacks any true talent these days.

WOW | Reviewer: Music fan | 11/28/07

What more can you say, but "wow". What a talent to capture so much of life in one short string of lyrics - let alone make it rhyme !!

self explanatory | Reviewer: i love this | 11/8/07

this song explains and captures feeling that can't be put into words. it's so great that JM can create such a powerful and meaningful song that reaches everybody in their own personal lives.

captured our life | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/4/07

Our family was going through huge changes, moving, marriage, death and none of us were really able to put our arms around it all. Our daughter put together a family movie with pictures and this song as the back drop. It captured our story. We were speechless. For our family, this song means so much. It was the start to our healing and acceptance and ultimately realizing you can never stop this train.

stop this train | Reviewer: Isaac | 9/13/07

Well,I really think its cool how John dreamed of music literally his whole life, and then he went off
to music collage, got a career, and worked off from there, becoming a world wide practical Idol for many of us.It is just amazing how he did it.Amazing.And
stop this train was genuinely and fantastically
amazing.I cryed when I heard it,(And I know that sounds cheesy, but, yeah)But,I wish he would actually say something about it.Well,I guess John wants us to figure it out on our own. And,I do kinda like that.I love you John mayer, and best wishes to the next album you make!

the new Dylan | Reviewer: biff | 8/26/07

I've taken a lot of flack for saying that, but after Continuum, I really believe it. John is as much a poet, and has a similar voice. I meet more people every day, young and old, who feel he speaks for them.

SPHS Mom | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/24/07

This song was performed by 4-5 very talented members of the senior class of South Plainfield High School (NJ) during their own graduation ceremony. It brought tears to my eyes and a new found respect for this generation of young men and women. Thank you John Mayer and thank you class of 2007. May you enjoy the train ride ahead of you, always.

Amazing. | Reviewer: Kill | 8/24/07

Stop this train is one of the only songs which really captures emotion and expresses it so well through music and lyrics. John Mayer's songs usually manage to relate to something in everyones lives and this is one of his many songs which everyone can relate to. Its amazing, the lyrics are unbelievable and many of his songs have this powerful effect, especially his newer songs off Continuum, John Mayer is amazing.
