Like reality is setting in and bringing him down and he just wants to stay up, stay afloat. This song took on a whole new meaning to me and my famly when my grandmother was recently diagnosed with the incurable, and terrible, cancer of the pancreas. And how profound that the song we heard playing over head, was John Mayer's GRAVITY. The Dr's words were in perfect poetic harmony with the lyrics of this song. My sisters and I have had my gradmother write the word 'gravity' and are looking forward to haveing it tattooed on each of us in my grandmothers's handwriting.
