An unforggetable trauma | Reviewer: Genival Gomes | 2/1/13
Lennon seems to show that he hasn't overcame the suffering from the trauma of his mother's death who was hit by a car on the street.
"Before you cross the street, take my hand. Life is what happens to you..."
By far, one of the best musicians ever | Reviewer: Nicole | 10/31/12
Beautiful song, Lennon was one the best lyric writer, musician and artist ever. His songs have always been very profound and melodic. I like the echo made in the words "ocean" and "patient" you can listen that it sounds slightly like the pronunciation of the name Sean.
"Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" - masterpiece(?) | Reviewer: Chris Cowsill
The author's long-time song-writing partner Paul McCartney once said this was his favourite post-Beatle Lennon composition. What else needs to be said?
This was apparently written after a boating trip in the late-'70s, when Lennon wrote several of the tracks that would eventually be featured on the (almost posthumous) "Double Fantasy" album.
"Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."
