The Reviews about Silent Running (page 1/1)
------ performed by Joan Baez
Silent Running Review | Reviewer: Jordi | 11/4/2007
This Lyrics is for the wonderful song "Rejoice in the Sun", the main theme of the 1971 Sci-fi classic "Silent Running". Only a little correction: "Tell them all they love will die" instead of "Tell them what they love will die".
The other song sung by Joan Baez in the film is "Silent Running" and its lyrics is as follows:
"Earth between my toes and a flower in my hair
that's what I was wearing when we lay, among the ferns.
Earth between my toes and a flower I will wear when he returns.
(music)
Wind upon his face and my fingers in his hair
that's what he was wearing when we lay, beneath the sky.
Wind upon his face and my love he will wear when swallows fly.
(music)
Tears of sorrow running deep
running silent in my sleep
running silent in my sleep.
Regards!
