I agree that the lyrics are a little bit hard to understand, yeah my best guess would be sex and drinking as well. I dont understand the never get you dry part and I dont know what "hit me I can take your cheep shots" and "drag me out into the cold rain, I dont feel a single thing", is that suposed to mean that the girl abuses him? I don't quite understand but I still ove the song. Very amazing song. | Reviewer: Tori Jeffery | 11/11/2004 The lyrics to this song are absolutely amazing, I don't think that Jimmy Eat World gets enough credit, and recognition for what they produe. I find these lyrics a bit difficult to understand. Uhm, I would have to say it sounds like it has something to do with sex and drinking. If anyone else has an idea what it's about, please comment, I would love to even see what anyone else thinks of this song. And by the way, the Futures album is genious, very well written, there is only one song that is actually horrible on that album. Check out The Bled, and Hopesfall , two very amazing bands as well.
