He was a great men and did amazing things. Nobody told me until the night of his funeral. They thought that I wouldn't understand. Every time I hear "And if you were with me tonight, I'd sing to you just one more time" it always makes me cry because he sang at our church. After going through depression, I then found out that I have ADD and I have a horrible memory. I also found out that there is no cure for this. I hope and pray everyday that I will get better even though I get worse every day. The reason I selected this song was for the line of "What would you think of me now?" The last 7 years of my fathers life I lived on the other side of the country as him. When we found out about his cancer I offered to transfer schools and move to help take care of him. Putting me first, he said no. Although I wasn't with him during his last months, he was very happy that I was accomplishing my dreams, as I just got married and was about to graduate college. Definitely a man with a heart so big. I didn't know who sang it or what it was called for months until a friend told me. I listened to the words and I immediately thought of a friend of mine that had passed away when we were only in elementary school. His 16 year old sister lovingly put together a video tribute which played at his services and Hear You Me was the song she chose.
