Review about CASTLES MADE OF SAND ------Performed by Jimi Hendrix | 06/05/2007 11:00:00 AM What lyrics. I've been listening to this song for years. But never read those lyrics. I can't believe how profound these are. This puts hendrix over the top for me.The lyrics are full of irony. But for me, the last verse is not about the girl wanting to die as much as it is she finds a reason to live. And that the sandcastle slipping into the sea is her wish to die; she now hasa reason to live. Does anyone agree? Thanks to chris for submitting the review.
