idiots. | Reviewer: megan | 12/1/07
yeah alice is this girl that the author wanted to be with, but she was very young. he decided to write a book about her in his own wonderland, hence the name alice in wonderland. what kind of people could think of a plot like that? only innocent children and adults who have been taking mind altering drugs. i don't really know HOW you can deny that the movie and book are about tripping. i mean, she shrinks, gets bigger, meets all these people. whoever thinks it's not, obviously has never eaten mushrooms or taken acid. you go on a crazy trip. and that's exactly what alice did.
idiots!! | Reviewer: zack | 11/28/07
fucking idiots, the song definatly is about an lsd trip and so is alice in wonderland. I mean seriously, why else would she even be in wonerland and eatin mushrooms and talkin to catapillers smokin hookahs? think about it people
Get your facts straight | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/28/07
OKAY firstly the SONG is wriiten about the BOOK more so than the movie really, because the movie was ENTIRLEY based on the book, verbatim. And so, yes the movie is about drugs but thats because the BOOK is about drugs (primarily Opium, and Mushrooms, though the movie was prolly more LSD influenced because of the times). So if you are going to fight about it, get your history right. Noone wrote the Alice in Wonderland movie up at Disney studios; it was a highly acclaimed novel (written in the 1800s mind) first.

The movie was about a shroom trip he told to these three girls he was traveling with. One of them happened to be named Alice so he put her instead of him.
way way wrong. | Reviewer: amberlyn. | 11/24/07
LSD has been around forever, but was founded in the 30's ....before alice in wonderland hit screens. & even if the writter wasnt fucked up, [which there has been countless sayings that he was.] its defiantly a drug related movie....which doesnt bother me at all....i happen to think its a badass movie.
not too hard to figure out | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/23/07
the movie was way before lsd and the song wasnt simple as that. and im pretty sure they wouldnt encourage children to watch a movie about lsd and shrooms and hookas. easy as that
TRUTHFULLY | Reviewer: OverIt | 11/22/07
it is about the lsd trip... the author of alice in wonderland, had a biography written on him. read it... it tells you. and Alice was his 14 year old neighbor, who he couldn't have a relationship with because she was only 14.... read up on the facts people...
I do drugs too BUT!!!! | Reviewer: smarter then most | 11/22/07
anyone who says alice in wonderland is about drugs is fucking stupid...alice in wonderland was written WAY WAY before LSD...so jesus i hope you guys were trippin when you wrote this or you do give drug users everywhere a bad reputation...fucking retards
seriously? | Reviewer: amberlyn. | 11/10/07
this is mainly to the people who think the song isnt a metaphor. the song is CLEARLY about drugs. "& you've just had some kind of mushroom" ...its obviosly about alice eating the shroom. open your eyes, you dipshits. & theirs alot more metaphors in the movie & in the song. its a great song, and a badass movie. very trippy i must add. not to mention the creator of alice in wonderland was on acid & shrooms.
it is about drugs | Reviewer: giles | 11/8/07
Your all fucking retards, this song is all about the effects of drugs, it cites parallels between the hallucinatory effects of LSD and the imagery found in the fantasy works of Lewis Carroll: 1865's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass. Alice, the Dormouse, the hookah-smoking caterpillar, the White Knight, and the Red Queen are all mentioned in the song. Events in the books such as changing size after eating mushrooms or drinking an unknown liquid are also mentioned. The last line of the song is "Remember what the Dormouse said. Feed your head. Feed your head." and does not explicitly quote the Dormouse as is often assumed. The line probably refers to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", Chapter XI 'Who Stole the Tarts':
fucking google it retards
