alright thats enough | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/15/08
guys, its a song, based off a story, that is based off of mind twisting drugs that are really swell. So rather than fornicating yourselves with the ridiculas amounts of information and backstory behind this song, perhaps you should all just enjoy it, and CHILL OUT!
and again... | Reviewer: God | 3/12/08
fucking morons. It's probably one of the most famous lines from one of the most notorious and referenced sets of lyrics ever written -- it has thousands of references in google, including several book titles, for those of you who think the world was invented when "u lerned 2 tipe with ur thums" -- and you douchebags can't even get it right: "remember what the dormouse said."
Somebody needs to feed their head something other than mindless video games.
It is not "door knob"... | Reviewer: Justin J. Rebbert | 3/9/08
I've tried to submit a correction, but it told me I've already done it twice (incorrect) and won't let me submit anything.
Anyway...
The word "over" should be in the line "Have fallen OVER sloppy dead"; it nearly doesn't fit in the sung line, but if you listen carefully, you can hear it's squeezed in there (more like "o'er").
Regarding the last three lines: First of all, this song is in reference to the Alice books written by Lewis Carroll, NOT to the bastardized Disney animated combination and re-ordering of the two books (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and Through The Looking-Glass). The door knob character in the Disney movie IS NOT IN THE BOOKS; it is something Disney made up for its movie. Additionally, the line, "Remember what the dormouse said," does not reference a direct quote; "Feed your head" was NEVER said by the dormouse character (nor by the door knob character, for that matter). Rather, "Remember what the dormouse said" is a reference to another chapter in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Specifically, to the "Who Stole The Tarts" chapter (which fans of the Disney movie will know better as the red-painted-roses trial scene, which in the book, was actually about stolen tarts, not red-painted roses), in which a jury member asks, "But what did the dormouse say," to which the Mad Hatter replied, "That I can't remember." The ending lines "Feed your head" are probably more of a commentary on the point of the song by its writers. Finally, if you just listen to the song, it's clear that Grace Slick sings "dormouse" and not "door knob".
Hm | Reviewer: Jake | 3/10/08
In a way I agree with Kevin. This song has absolutely nothing to do with the game Lost Odyssey, It is in obvious reference to Alice in Wonderland, and the use of drugs. But I also think that the song had good value in the commercial in the sense of the mood it set. I first heard ths song in the movie "Fear in Loathing in Las Vegas" and I think it's an awsome song, with some sort of meaning that I can't really comprehend, lol.
wtf | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/6/08
I think that all of you need to relax a little bit. I first heard this song in the movie "The Game", and i heard it on the Lost Odyssey trailer as well. It's a good song that sounds appropriately epic for a battle and lets leave it at that. Also, a note to you self-important oldfags: no one cares if you have been listening to jefferson airplane for 10 years, 20 years, or since before they were famous, everyone has the right to an opinion and we dont need your pretentious elitism.

Kevin, opinions are opinions, but most are not as poorly spelled as yours. :D
Anyways. Love the song. Knew it before the Lost Odyssey commercial aired. The game has nothing to do with the song, so poor choice on their part. Moreover, the commercial tells me NOTHING about the game, therefore not persuading me to buy it.
Ejes is right. End of story.
SONG FROM PLATOON | Reviewer: Mat S. | 3/1/08
THis song is from platoon, that is the first time I heard it and also a crap load on the radio and just recently it came out for Lost Odessy game trailer. but yeah this song is using alice in wonderland to talk about drugs so they could get on the radio wiithout being censored.
Kevin, sir | Reviewer: Zach | 3/1/08
The reason the song was used in the trailer was because the main character is clearly a WHITE KNIGHT, and obviously its a great song with awesome music. your point would be valid if they used the whole song but they only used those lyrics which correspond to the medieval feel to the game (ie Knight and Queen).
hey | Reviewer: Tamara | 2/29/08
lost odyssey is majestic okay? Please remember, kids, that just because a majestic song is used to promote a product it doesn't mean that the product is comparatively majestic. But lost odyssey is an exception :p
dormice/mouse=same thing | Reviewer: madhatter | 2/28/08
dormice may be a type of mouse but thats the plural form of it. dormouse is the singular as in 1 mouse. dormouse. if thats what the songs actually says then thats cool but i just wanted to put it out there that yes ejes, dormice is a part of the rodent family but mice is plural, mouse is singular. (see wikipedia)
