I just watched a Country Reunion show and you performed Another Day, Another Dollar by Wynn Stewart. Have you ever recorded this song on any of your albums? If so, which one? I'm looking for information about Hank Rains who performed in the Bakersfield clubs in the 50's, 60's and 70's I believe. Did you know him? He is listed on some billings with Buck Owens and Merle Haggard.

I don't know if you remember my sister: Virginia (Ginny Slayton) May, in the late 40s or early 50s in and around Visalia & Fresno, Calif. She used to also sing country music back then, and I understood you two were "buddies". She talked about you a lot. I wound up later being a lead guitarist & song writer in country music, and still am. I have really enjoyed your voice & music. Thank you for all you are and all you have given to all of us. Hello Jean. I was a Freshman at Redwood Highschool in Visalia CA in 1950. I believe you were a Soph, maybe a Junior. The next year we moved into the new school MT. Whitney.I saw you perform there at school. Also I have been to Ivanhoe many many times while growing up ther in the Valley. I left in 1953 for good, been back for visits. Been to the Picnic there at Oak Grove Park Many times also. Congratulations, you took your great talent and moved on with it.
