Once in a great while, I hear new music that really gets my attention. This one did just that... what a great tune! Who cares if the lyrics are a bit abstract. If you want clarity, read the newspaper.

Never liked this guys music much till I heard this song last week on a much needed vacation in Hawaii. It was all over the radio because of its summertime islands sound. It's really a catchy tune. Imagine listening to it while driving around the island in a convertible. Yeah, that's the way to hear it. BTW - if you want to learn how to play it strum C/G/Am/F, and if your really chill, do it on a ukulele....then your a stud.

Jason has misunderstood the definition of the word "forsaken."

In this song, a "God-forsaken right to be loved" would mean that because God has forsaken love - i.e., abandoned it, disapproves of it - it is our right to be loved simply because God doesn't want you to be loved -- that it is somehow our "right" to contradict God...!?

How could you not be smiling after hearing this song? The lyrics are all over the place, but it works! Don't think so hard, just listen, sing, and enjoy life. I would love to have this sung at my wedding. It makes you feel so happy and good, just like your wedding should.

This is the kind of song that keeps you guessing about whether it's completely random or has a deeper meaning... It's a fun, cute, and catchy song.
Any song writer would know that it's not about the words you write but the meaning behind them, and people don't necessarily have to understand this song for it to have meaning.
A song that has the ability to lift people's spirits, burn itself into your mind til you're singing it day and night, and yet be so simple is truly amazing. I'm yours.

This song doesn't make any sense. The man is all over the place. Why is he looking at his tounge in the mirror, and what does this have to do with love. Then he tells us not to be vain, but that our name is our virtue? Is he chasing a girl? Is he proclaiming that we all love one another? Is he molesting someones ear? IDK, I guess I expect a little more out of a song writer. But maybe he is just trying to make some dough via teenie boppers. P.S. The guitar is a total rip off.

I really like this song..I had a friend who sang this song and he has the same voice with jazon..Since then I research the lyrics and everytime I sing it with my friends who tend to love this song.

Wow! I really like this song. When I was really sad it came on the radio and I've been listening to it ever since. If your ever down and not feeling the best just close your eyes and put this song on. I garantee it will put a smile on your face and make you sing it to the top of your lungs. =P

I'm speechless....seriously, I can't believe that jason mraz can make such a great song like this. FYI : I've already listened to this song for about 6 days straight. There's a lil bit reggae style of this song that makes me want to move my entire body. Nice song, jason mraz!!!!
