When I heard this song, I just found myself deeply inside my old failed relationships, when I was disappointed of people I truely loved... and they knew it well, but they (maybe) didn't deserve it...

on what i think hes saying by this song is he`s losing his love she`s leaving him and he`s feeling like he`s dieing as she`s leaving him he`s falling to her feet so he can no longer live with out her....but thats how i see it
