Jack Johnson and meaningless lyrics... that's a pretty strange conclusion, I would say.. Either his political songs as the more romantic ones are quite brilliant indeed in their compositions, referrals to greater means and to genuine human feelings. It wouldn't take a genius to see that, I assume.....

Gotta agree with Steve there, all of Jack Johnson's lyrics have meaning behind them, particually songs like "Cookie Jar" which exposes American society's underbelly.

Taylor's a prostitute, and Pete's a religious hypocrite type. Work it out from there, but the lyrics are by no means meaningless, Jack Johnson's lyrics are so often brilliant in their simplicity, but that also means they sometimes go well over the heads of the listeners, especially when half the demographic seem to only listen because 'omg jj is cute'.

i like this song itz very tranquil and pleasant. i can play it on guitar and i like doin that. jj is pretti cute, u hav 2 admit it... the lyrics are a bit meaningless, thats all
