------ performed by Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson is great! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/3/09
A wonderful song, makes me kind of sad listening to it, it's very emotional, Jack Johnson really goes private and deep into his songs. After reading the other reviews, I have to admit it really does hurt when you've lost a love and then listen to this song. It reminds you of better times and you kind of regret all the things that went wrong.

my gf just left me after a year and a half of dating, she moved on quickly after we broke up and dated/dating this nobody, and i regret every single day not being with her, regret everyday my mistakes. We were very serious, had a few stupid problems but loved each other very much. Are all 20 year old girls like this? Do you all want a major change in ur life at some point?

It is also our song. I often burst into tears everytime I hear it. Every word seems to be speaking for my heart, only in a bette way.
I miss my love cross the globe...
Why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together
All of them are "our" song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/15/09
My boyfriend and I have been listening to jack literally since we started dating and during every important thing first kiss, first time we had sex, first time saying I love you, even our first fight I love jack johnson I'm just dreading when we eventually break up because I know I won't be able to listen to him anymore

i love this song is "our song" the first time i listen i love it & i had tears my husban is in the military so when i heard it,.it reminded me of him this is my favorite part...beacuse i i keep all his letters in a shoe box..There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart,
our dreams, and they are made out of real things
like a shoebox of photographs
with sepia-toned loving
cuz is always better when we are together, we awlays listen to that song even we go road trip , & is funny we never get tired of that song it never get old..

Personal Meaning | Reviewer: magjan | 1/7/09
This song also has alot of meaning to me. My boyfriend and I have gone through alot together, and being young doesn't help. He lives across state now, and I miss him terribly. Its such a pain how everytime we see each other we have to ask permission (I would go regardless, but its still a hassle. I don't drive due to complicated reasons so I have to fly out there. My aunt tried cutting us off from each other for over a month. Took my phone, grounded me to the house, took away the computer. Every means of communication you could think of she took, to prevent me from even talking to him. Now, we have been dating for over a year, and we remain deep in love. It truly is always "better when were together." On one of our road trips together, this song played on my ipod. I knew it was on there, but with all the songs I forgot all about it. Its crazy how it relates to us so well. This is now our song. And has been since July 13th, the day we heard it.
I plan on moving into an apartment with him shortly and attending college. Our distance will no longer be a problem, but this song will always remain true!
Reasonably Serious Buisiness. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/6/09
@TheVoiceofReason: Let me tell ya, I realized just how right you were when you called me an idiot and claimed ( in very much the style of the age-old, infamous Soup Nazi,) that there was "no hope for you.". Your superior intellect was only reinforced by the "CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR AWESOME" philosophy with which you aproached this, clearly the most important issue you've ever had the balls to confront ( despite doing so, quite shamelessly , through the Internet.) By now I'm sure you've moved on to trolling the vast, dark corners of this shameless series of tubes we call the Internet. Thanks again for reminding me that the Internetz are, indeed, serious buisiness. For all of the sensible, good-willed victims of this coward's haven we call home ( yes, all four of you,) please forgive me for the LOLCats reference. P.S. : An excellent song for everyone who isn't a jaded cynic when it comes to the issue of love.
