"Tugging your skirt singing please please please", obviously wanting only the physical aspect of the relationship. But now that she's gone, he realizes all he took for granted. He realizes she didn't ask more for him than his time and his loyalty. etc etc etc soooooooooooooo beautiful. The irony is that he only "now" sees this.
