I've never had one (I'm only fourteen) but just the thought of loosing my little creation that I've made with my husband that I loved before the test even read positive just makes me want to curl up in bed, never try for a baby again, not eat, drink, or sleep... not to ever love something the way I did that lost child again. I see this song from "my husband's" point of view, see him hurt because he's lost two: his baby and his wife. I've never heard such a sad song before. But I love it all the same. I'll replay it over and over again and not care that it makes my eyes puffy and ugly and sting from the salty tears running down my face. I'll leave them there because they are the mark of a beautiful, pure, and amazingly brilliant song by Iron and Wine.
