During the formative years of Iron Maiden, I completely missed them, following progressive rock bands like Yes instead. In the last 10 years I got interested in European metal bands like Stratovarius, Edguy, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica before I realized Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were the foundation of all their sounds. I am now really enjoying I.M.'s whole catalog. Long live Iron Maiden!

take it from a skateboarding, metalhead, metal singer, chess camp,mohawk native, iron maiden is like hands down the best metal you are going to find for listening to.they got like what, 40 albums and have played there powerful hits all around the world since like the 1970's.they sold over 70 million albums world wide!and lets not forget the art work and the t shirts, vary cool!but i think people who are iron maiden fans should look in to the history of iron maiden more, just because they are like living legends of metal, and all ways will be shshshsh.. wait i herd that the original singer for iron maiden was native amarican like me, his name was Paul Mario Day but it's to bad he drank to much,and that he sang that song run to the hills for his mother, and a bunch of others songs.also Bruce Dickinson is hands down a good singer and does a good job singing run to the hills and women in uniform...

Maiden has influenced me to play guitar, even though im only 14 maiden has really proved to me that they are and will only be the best band in the world.

I believe Iron Maiden is one of the greatest Heavy Metal Bands ever, they keep producing good quality music, the latest studio album "A Matter of Life and Death" is a proof of it. I Was impress when I saw their latest material "Flight 666", the 2 hours documentary is an statement of how much people like this band around the globe. Maiden you earned my respect!

Iron Maiden is an amazing band. I first heard them a year ago. Sure, I'm a teen and it's taken me some time to get my ears out to the band. But I love their music. The music is great and the lyrics are unbelievably well written and meaningful. One of the few intelligent metal bands that are still in existence. Although, Maiden had it's hard times in the beginning like any other band, it has become something so much more. Iron Maiden is an inspiration to all!

I was 13 years old when I saw the "Piece Of Mind" tour. I was so floored at the sound, the stage , and the intensity of it all. I've been a fan ever since! I've traveled to many different US cities to see them perform; my one wish is to see them in front of a "home" crowd at Wembley Stadium!! Now that I'm in my 40's, I should be able to afford tickets for me and my 13 year-old son,too!!

my brother got me hooked on iron maiden some 5 months ago and i have been a huge maiden fan ever since.
all their songs are just amazing, the instrumentals bruce dickinson's vocals, fukin spectacular.
i only wish they will tour australia one more time so i can see them live.

Iron Maiden: the name of the band when i heard the song Strange World in 1985 which instantly rooted in my ear as my truely loved song...since then i m Iron Maiden fan...steve, dave, adrian, nicko, bruce and janick...you guyz never disband...stay together as long as you can...i pray for this...

I first heard of Iron Maiden in 1983 and I was hooked. 25 years later my 13 yr old son is hooked on Iron Maiden. We saw them this past summer and to my surprise I was not the only one with my teenage son. The venue was full of second generation Iron Maiden fans. Iron Maiden the best Heavy Metal Band!

iron maiden and metallica are the most historic and popular metal bands in the whole world.They've keep their reputation to the highest standards over the last 25 years,that's a great accoplishment.

i just cant belive how they made such a great achivment they are unbelivable i cant live without listining to at least 70 iron maiden songs per day and somtimes 150 specially "no more lies" best song inda hole world :D:D

Iron Maiden are simply the best metal band. Forget Metallica, they are exactly what Kerry King called them- A sinking Ship. Iron Maiden have produced hit album after hit album, in a very similar style to the beatles. Also, they are perhaps the best composers of all time.
