People!! | Reviewer: Billie
Hey everybody listen up!! It doesnt matter where you hear music, whether it wad on GH or not doesnt matter. What matters is that you hear a song somewhere in this messed up world and it was freakin beautiful. Thats what I love about music is the fact that it can something so simple and can hold hidden messages of something gruesome and ugly yet with talent a musician, true artist can turn a situation such as that into something that is beautiful. I love Interpol's music especially because they have an incredible talent at taking simple lyrics and rythms and placing them in such a way that something as perverted as masturbation can sound beatiful. Music is a form of Art, and Art is Beauty which is a glimpse into Eternity. It doesnt really matter what the meaning behind a song is or where it came from or where it was heard or discovered, what matters is where the song takes the listener, that someone somewhere can appreciate its Beauty and be taken away by it. Just as listeningto Obstacle One convinced me that lufe was worth living.

Okay, please don't skip this review after reading this next line, just hear it out: I discovered this song from GH, and that's how I found other bands and I don't see a problem with that. I used to hate kids who discovered my favorite bands from the game before I began playing it, but I realized that the publisher of the game is causing rock, metal, indie, and all these other great forms of music from fading away in the shadow of *holding back puke* rap, hip hop, dubstep and so on. The only way to discover a band is by hearing about in some way. Back 10 or 15 years ago, people liked bands who got around by word-of-mouth, and those who were discovered through radio suddenly became hated for being "mainstream." Now, people use LastFM and Pandora to discover bands. The only difference between these sites and GH is that Gh lets you not only discover the music, but embrace it, even if it is with corny plastic instruments, and help those who can't play the real thing to be able to become connected to music on a higher level. Guitar Hero is a savior in my opinion. It revived my favorite band, Megadeth, with their offer to the band to make a title song for the game, which has now landed them at the top of billboards right at a time that people no longer have even heard the name before or heard any of their work that has been released since '98. The only problem with GH is that some kids are ignorant and believe that only the musci that they see on the game is music worth listening to. And for those who still are going to be stubborn, Guitar Hero has been shut down as a franchise, so you can chill now knowing that there won't be any more. And if you're wondering why they pulled the plug, it's because "the rock genre is no longer popular." So there you have it: our love is fading, and you guys are complaining about the things that keep it thriving.

honestly? | Reviewer: kickjazz
tommeh makes a good point while elijah and anonyomous sound like a video game stole some of the songs glory? how would that happen? the song brought it under the light for alot of people to see. it is like your friend saying "hey check out this song." and you hear it ande like it and look up the rest off the bands music... to say anything bad about guitar hero for distuibuting music is retarded

not a guitar hero ditty | Reviewer: mayday
put a little more research into the music you listen to. this isn't a guitar hero ditty. this is an old album from a band that i've been listening to for over a decade. It's pretty much an insult to call any song from this band a "guitar hero ditty." If anybody wants to hear an amazing interpol song try and find a way to get your hands on 'precipitate'

GH too :) | Reviewer: BloteAapOpVoeten
to be honest, I also found Interpol thanks to GH haha =) and the more I dive into the lyrics, the more meaning they get and the more I like them.
so what the fuck is everyone bragging about??
GH is a fun game, and they got the right songs that can inspire ppl to listen closely to what a certain band (like Interpol) has to say.
Stop being babies little beotches... | Reviewer: mjill
It's pathetic that people actually degrade this song and the band just because it's a Guitar Hero ditty. Get over yourself. It's a great song and a great band. Just because you are 19 and feel your opinion matters doesn't make it right, early worthless marriage or no. Just enjoy the music the way it was supposed to be and not the BS horse cockie you want it to be. Pathetic.
Why so bad on GH | Reviewer: Rayz0r
I am sure that Interpol are glad that more people are appreciating their music regardless of how they come to listen to it. I remember seeing Interpol on Jules Holland a long time ago and have been a fan ever since, obviously this is one of their best songs and I think it's fantastic that people have found out about Interpol through Guitar Hero.

this song Is amazing It's one of mine and my future husbands fav's we been digging on this since high school and I makes me sad when people say they've only just started listening to this all because of Lame ass guitar hero It saddens me because I feel now that It bares the make of GH that it cheapens it I strongly encourage anybody that this applies to to check out other Interpol songs, because they all are sweet and beautiful.
In addition I'd just like to say Fuck guitar hero

I don't listen to rock music @ all really but since playing GH I've found quite a few tracks I find to be amazing, this being one. This coming from a strict hip hop fan. Don't know what it is about this song, been stuck in my head all day.
One of the coolest songs I've ever heard. | Reviewer: Metablaze
First heard this song on Guitar Hero. Yeah, sad, I know, but I find that the way music and videogames are coming together is helping reignite my interest in music. This song is one of the best songs I've heard in my life. I can listen to it all day, and I feel like I identify with the whole feel of it. One of the coolest songs I've ever heard, in the literal sense of cool, not the "oh that's cool just because it's popular" sense, but the actual true essence of cool sense, and it prompted me to actually spend time learning about a band and becoming a fan of it, and that's very hard to get someone like me to do.
My favorite song... | Reviewer: SethMayCry
