The song evil from interpol's new antics album is fantastic, and the retarded looking puppet in the video clip is awesome... Its a really motivational song. all in all antics is a great album, go out and buy, at the same time have a look at their previous one, turn on the bright lights. this evil is good for me | Reviewer: spencer | 1/10/05 after "slowhand" I was expecting the usual slightly weaker second single but I gotta say that "evil" is twice as good and by far my favourite single of the moment despite the unusually strong competition out there right now. such an original sound and feel that I struggle to find any easy comparisons except for a slight Ian Curtis feel which has been missing from music in spite of the harking back to eighties sounds which seem to influence a lot of musicians today. anyhoo,if you havent heard it yet make sure you do,oh and the muppet in the video could give acting lessons to most of the shitheads on television. buy it buy it buy it !!!
