This BEAUTIFUL song calls out to each of us to replace petty patriotism and self-interest with global understanding and acceptance. If we had all grown up singing this hymn instead of the (often bellicose and jingoistic) national anthems we DID grow up with, perhaps this World would be a more peaceful - and BETTER - home for ALL of us.
