Amazing song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/6/09
It's a postively amazing song.
Although, I can get why the band didn't release it as a single, it's simply too amazing to be cut for radio.
The guitar solo is frantic yet soothing, and Ben's cool basslines make you feel like you're a drop of water.
And Brandon's lyrics... they touch you deeply.
Jose keeps perfect tapping rythym, it's just an amazing song.
It wouldn't matter if these guys made songs where they sang without a beat or if they just played instrumentals.
Whatever music these guys make, they sing, and they sing with a powerful voice, even when their mouths aren't open.
One of Incubus' best | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/27/09
Everyone in the band gets to shine in this incredible song. Brandon shows amazing range, Mike has a catchy chorus and a wicked solo, Ben has a cool bass grove throughout and Jose more than hold his own with some intricate drumming (especially at 5:05). Epic in length, brilliant in sound.
Catchy Chorus | Reviewer: Wargamer | 5/1/09
YES! I agree. The wavering bass line is what first caught my interest in this song. But the Chorus had me hook line and sinker. Leeeave meeee heaaar in myyyy....Stark raving sick sad little woooooorrrrllld. DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!?
I think the length of the song is PERFECT. The song takes you everywhere you WANT to go.
the best solo in the album | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/5/08
sick sad little world has probably the best solo in the album! it seems a little long maybe, but maybe that's just because we are forced to wait for the insanely catchy chorus.
